Yabong Support Services
Before that seed sprouts...
Get to know the woman who cultivated the soil that paved the way for YabongAlways been a shy, reserved, and private person, Annie decided to take a shot in the loud and bold world of broadcast communication. And since then, her life has been an adventure.
Driven by her passion to serve the disadvantaged, she joined a small public service media group as an intern and was eventually taken in as an investigative researcher. Being naturally observant has greatly helped her succeed in completing her mission assignments and helping the company establish and/or streamline its operations procedures.
A few months later, she joined the government’s higher education arm as a media relations officer. She maximized the power of media to ensure that qualified but financially-challenged students will be given a chance to have a quality education. But making these programs known and accessible to the public did not make Annie stop from finding more ways to help the education sector. When all mechanisms for external communications were up and running, she decided to transition into being a project manager. From then on, Annie got involved in programs and projects that have an impact on improving the quality of education, providing access to poor but deserving students, and other innovative programs that can benefit learning institutions and students alike.
She has worked and managed different teams. And with each team, she has tried her best to discover, nurture, and propel potential, instill mission-oriented goals, and develop a calculated approach to getting things done.
At the moment, as her family embarks on a new journey to being a family of three, Annie hopes to transition to being both a virtual professional and a digital entrepreneur. She dreams of building a team of curiosity-provoking and mission-driven budding creatives who will share with her mission of lending a hand to support other aspiring individuals or start-up businesses on their journey until it finally reaches its season of pag-Yabong.
